Seamount Business Services Ltd was founded by Adam and Kath Hiscock after both working in differing industries and accountancy practices for a combined 25 years.

Struggling to balance work and life it made sense to work together and put their qualifications and experience to good use.

It is important to both that their clients see the benefit of what they pay for hence Seamount becoming their “insourced accountants” and it is essential that they know all about us, as people.

From Bookkeeping to Accounts Production to Tax Returns – Seamount can offer the complete package at a fixed annual fee payable on a monthly basis enabling you to manage your cash-flow effectively.

Adam Hiscock

CEO & Principal Accountant
Adam likes…socialising, exploring the outdoors and rum

Adam’s career began in Portsmouth where he started as a junior and grew to become the Accounts Senior in an accountancy practice, having qualified and become a member of AAT.

He has worked in a variety of industries including, manufacturing, transportation and leisure and tourism. He moved to Wales where he became Client Manager and Management Accountant.  Working in Wales, with its diverse industrial heritage saw him building on his experience and expanding his knowledge into engineering and retail.

Adam then delved into working in the Public Sector, providing him with an insight of the complexities of dealing with Government bodies, adding an additional dimension to his knowledge base.

Kath Hiscock

Managing Director
Kath likes…spreadsheets, drinking gin and walking her Labrador

Kath qualified with a BTec in Business & Finance and started her career in the timber and forestry industry before progressing to managing finance roles in manufacturing, petrochemicals and the construction industry, with a brief flirtation into the music industry.

Her specialised knowledge and interest in Payroll and Personal Tax pushed her to become Payroll Manager in various Accountancy Practices, and has been integral in setting up BACS Bureaus dealing with employee payments.

As MD of Seamount Kath drives the business forward and is always looking at automations that can make the client journey easier.

David Roberts

Accounts Assistant
David likes…spending time in the garden and learning to play golf

With over 30 years’ experience David has come out of retirement to join the team on a part-time basis. He looks after our clients and their bookkeeping needs. David steps into the team when he is needed and when he doesn’t have a golf round booked.

Having worked in the transport industry, manufacturing and the charity sector he has a wealth of knowledge in these particular industries.

Jonathan Jones

Accounts Assistant
Jonathan likes…sport, maths and toasties!

Jonathan joined the team in 2019 as a trainee and has already got to grips with the need for a methodical approach to completing bookkeeping using a number of applications on behalf of our clients. He began his formal training in 2020 and is looking forward to becoming a fully-fledged Accountant when he completes his studies

 

Caitlin Finn

Accounts Assistant
Caitlin likes…cooking, photography and penguins

Caitlin studied her level 3 Diploma in AAT Accounting after leaving school and spent a number of years working in retail and using the skills developed.

Having joined our team in 2020 Caitlin will be working with our clients with regards to their VAT returns as well as preparing Management Accounts to enable our clients to make strategic business decisions based on their latest figures.

Megan Bowles

Administrator
Megan likes…sports, wine and new adventures

Megan joined our team as administrator and will be undertaking training to take over the payroll department. Having previously worked in customer facing roles she will work with our clients to ensure that they get the best experience when dealing with Seamount. She embodies our ethos of having a friendly focus where client can have open conversations about their business.
